Taishin Arts Center Lunch Time Concert (台新金控藝文中心午間音樂會)
will be held at the Taishin Arts Center (台新金控藝文中心) today from 12:30pm
to 1:30pm. Part of Taishin Bank Foundation for Arts and Culture's summer program, this concert is the fourth of a series of
six lunchtime concerts. The wind quartet concert will feature flutist Chiang Chia-ying (江佳穎), oboist
Wu Ya-chen (吳雅真), clarinetist Lai Yi-jui (賴怡叡), and bassoonist Liu Tse-wen (劉澤文).
The program will include three Moravia dances, and a set of partitas with exotic elements from Spain and Mexico, as well as

Friends from Sweden! (來自瑞典的長笛夏夜!)
will be presented at the National Concert Hall tomorrow. The concert will feature Swedish flute master Goran Marcusson and
National Symphony Orchestra principal flute player Anders Norell. Hou Yu-piao (侯宇彪) will be the conductor
and Taipei Symphonic Band (TSB, 台北青年管樂團) will also play. The program includes
divertimento for flute and wind instruments by Alfred Reed, Andante and Rondo for two flutes and wind instruments by F. Doppler,

The Splendor of Piano Duo (雙鋼琴音樂會)
at the National Recital Hall will feature two promising pianists Wang Chen-yi (王真儀) and Liu Yi-chun (劉怡君).
They will play Arensky's Suite, Op.15, Brahms, Variations on a Theme by Haydn, Op.56b, Debussy's Lindaraja, and Rachmaninoff's

Meets Pasta and Fries (義大利麵與薯條的對話)
will feature Taiwanese soprano Miranda Jan (詹美慧) who is based in Italy – the home of “pasta”
– and US-based flutist Chao Hsiao-ling (趙筱菱) who likes to eat French fries. The soprano and flute
duet will be held at the National Recital Hall on July 26. The program will feature a program of works by Gastaldon, Tosti,
Jacob, Wagner, Andersen, Puccini, Dick, Reynolds, Weiner, and Weill. * At the National Recital Hall, Taipei * Tickets

Legend of “MOMO” (號角聲響V –“謀”音傳奇)
Ho Chung-mo's (何忠謀) Trumpet Recital (小號獨奏會) sponsored by Taipei Band
Association (台灣管樂協會) will be staged at the National Recital Hall on July 27. Accompanied
by pianist Huang Yun-yi (黃韻怡), Ho will present a program ranging from Western to Eastern musical pieces.
They will include Goedicke's Concerto, Francaix's Sonatine, Jolivet's Concertino, and several Taiwanese, Aboriginal, and Hakka-themed
caprices composed by Taiwanese musician Chang Hsiao-feng (張曉峰). * At the National Recital Hall, Taipei *
